adidas Originals: Copenhagen Takeover

Brief

Concept and manage key city activations during the adidas Originals city-take over of Fashion Week in Copenhagen. Specifically, coordinate a live show featuring key Originals musicians, develop an art-related activation that lives on & offline, and throw a wrap up event that celebrates the adidas Originals spirit in the unique city.

Solution

The live show featured the Sleighbells of Brooklyn NY, and also provided a backdrop for the adidas internal team to shoot retail and print images. The show attendees became part of the fabric of the campaign itself.

A live art graffiti installation featured the Pirates art collective of London, and moved to a new location each day while grabbing the attention of fans and passerby’s alike. A digital execution of the multi-day, multi-location timelapse with a graffiti tool allowed fans to create their own graffiti piece.

The wrap up party concept was a pool party set at the unique location of the Bryggen harbor pool. Originals inspired décor, dj’s, activations were there to make the party as fun as an Originals party should be. The unfortunate thunderstorms had the party move to an indoor skate park. But fans had fun just the same.
